One key, for good
You get a single key — ZLCP-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX — which
you paste into your CloudPilot dashboard once. It never changes. Renewing,
upgrading or downgrading does not reissue it.
It checks in, it doesn't phone your data home
The install verifies its entitlement every few hours. The check carries aggregate counts only. If our licence server is unreachable, your install keeps running on its cached entitlement through a grace period.
Lapsing degrades, it does not brick
If a subscription ends, the install drops to the free tier: cost visibility for one AWS account. It does not stop, delete anything or lock you out of your own data.
Trials are time-boxed keys
Evaluation keys carry a hard expiry and need no payment details. When they lapse, the install falls back to free on its own.
